They did a great job on my car! They were able to lower it, align it, and give it an oil change among other things. They were quick and their prices were very fair. I would highly recommend and I will be returning!
I took my car to Clay’s for my yearly inspection and I was happy I did so. They gave me a break down of exactly what I needed to fix to pass inspection and provided other recommendations for things to fix in the future. They finished my car right before closing, but stayed open so I could come pick it up. When I got there, I realized they charged a fee for credit cards, but they were willing to set up a Venmo account to allow me to pay and avoid the fee! Overall a good experience and I plan to take my car back to Clay’s for future maintenance.

I'm sure they do great work - They absolutely must, as their prices are beyond that of even a dealership. They nickel and dime you for every single thing. I was told an oil change would be "around $60" and by time they were done it ended up being $90 due to their "shop fee" and a charge for each individual fluid they topped off, without even asking if I wanted that extra service. They tried to charge $300 to change a couple light bulbs around the vehicle. I ended up getting it done elsewhere for $60 and that even included new wiper blades. I really wanted to like this place as they're right around the corner from me, but there's no way to justify charging $90 for a synthetic oil change on a 4-cyl sedan. I now go to the Toyota dealership on Baltimore Pike because they charge a flat $60 for an oil change, they top off fluids AND do an inspection at no additional charge.
Not horrible but definitely a damn headache of a place to deal with. Expensive as well.

I came out to a flat tire (in the rain, of course). I managed to put air in and headed for Sangillo’s. I turned too soon and ended up here. After checking all tires they found I had picked up a nail and were able to patch it. I was in and out within a half hour. I know it was a small job but I was very pleased with my experience.
Clay's diagnosed an unusual issue with my 2006 Subaru Forester within an hour and replaced the failed part the same day. Back to zipping around Delco in my Suby! Other local mechanics refused to even look at it after we described the issue. Highly recommend Clays if you have an older Surbaru.
I had an issue with a tire. He took my car back and in minutes he pulled out a screw. After checking it out it was fine. It wasn't deep enough and they did not charge me anything. All good👍

A family business, brothers, and cousin and they are experts at what they do and honest. These type of places seem to be disappearing in the USA and I'm happy to find these guys. Had all types of work done on vehicles ranging from toyota's to old Jeeps.
I brought my car to Clay's Automotive Service Center told them about my car. I was thinking I had a head gasket problem but after I talked to a very nice guy behind the counter he told me he can check with a machine that will let him know if that was the problem I also told him about the smoke out of the tailpipe that comes out every now and then. After about three days they found the problem I had a bad map sensor and my PVC value needed to be replaced. This made me very happy because a head gasket job is a lot of money. But by them taking there time to figure out my car's problem and keeping me informed on what my car needed. I now have no more smoke out of the tailpipe thanks Clay's Automotive Service Center. Very clean shop nice people who care about there customers.
They can do nice work, but last time they over-tightened all my wheel lugs, snapped one off and charged me $50 for replacing it. They were all 40 pounds over (120 ft-lbs) when I checked them at home.
In October 2012 the a/c on my 2003 Ford Crown Vic. stopped getting cold. I stopped by Clay's. They supposedly added dye, Freon and checked the A/C system for leaks. They said they thought there was a leak under the dash...grand total for this visit $157.00. The A/C still wasn't getting cold when I left but they said drive it for a while then come back and they could see where it was leaking. I went to a different mechanic who is honest. He told me all three fill valves (shrader valves) on my A/C system had been opened and there was no Freon in it. He closed the valves and filled my A/C with Freon and it works great (about $65). While I can't prove it I believe Clay's opened the valves and charged me for doing nothing in anticipation of me coming back an paying them a fortune to "fix" my A/C.
